This work was directly inspired by the indexical drawings of artist Hanne Darboven. While much has been written on the artist's oeuvre, much has also not be so explicated. The current sketch is therefore an attempt to draw out an explanation-as-interpretation of one of the artist's drawing. Made over graph paper, a series of cells are traversered by diagonals that both divide and connect.
