Two registrations, of even incrementation, are overlayed on top of each other. One manifests in the form of a point grid, while the other is a cellular grid. In transformation, one registration is rotated in relation to the other. Whereby a there is spatial coincidence of both grids, a three-dimensional cell is formed. Embedded in this emergent cell is a strut, whose orientation is dictated by that of the point grid. As this series involves the rotation of two similar rectangular grids, there will naturally emerge patterns of regularity at angle of 0, 45, and 90 degrees, while sets derived from intermediate angles will produce seemingly more chaotic patterns of emergence.
